My wife and I found this inn by chance on a visit to St. Andrews. The inn is spectacular...historic, comfortable and outfitted with everything you need. Hosts are the best...you can tell they truly have a passion for delivering an amazing guest experience. The location is perfect - just a few streets up from downtown. Would highly recommend! And make sure to grab a smoothie and breakfast sandwich!
What a wonderful and inviting Inn! We enjoyed our time at Montague Rose. The owners are so nice and Ella (in the Nummy Cafe’) is like a breath of fresh air! She prepared a delicious breakfast sandwich for us and had great recommendations about things for us to do.The entire mansion is beautifully restored with modern touches here and there. The Verona room is on the main level, has a comfortable bed, and plenty of space to move around. The location is very convenient to the charming waterfront where there are lots of shops and eateries.
We stayed at the Montague Rose for one night and wished we had time to stay longer. The inn and room are beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, it was perfectly clean and really quiet. It is in the perfect location for quiet walks around town and to walk to restaurants, stores, and the water. The owners are so lovely and helpful. We got in a bit late after a long day of travel and Ben welcomed us and shows us the room and inn. In the morning Zainub and Ben welcomed us, offered us breakfast, told us about the inn and suggested great things to do in town. They were so kind and helpful. This was my favorite place we stayed on our 2 week trip in the Maritimes. I look forward to a return trip to St. Andrews ( we loved it there) and to the Montague Rose. I highly recommend a stay there.
I had a 2 night stay at the Montague Rose with some old friends and wished it was longer. Everything was clean and the Juliet room was cozy and quiet with a new heat pump to keep the temperature perfect. The owners Zainub and Ben treated us like family. The Montague Rose has the perfect location in St. Andrews. A nice quiet neighborhood withiin walking distance of downtown and all the shops and restaurants along the waterfront. I look forward to a return trip to the Montague Rose.
My husband and I had a great one night stay at Montague Rose! Upon arrival, Ben (the owner) checked in on us and made sure everything was working and even gave us a small itinerary for what we could do that day. We stayed in the Verona room which was very clean and spacious. The design of the room is very modern and sleek! Location is amazing as it is super close to the Main Street, which we loved. We highly recommend Montague Rose and we can’t wait to come back! :)
We made a last minute decision to stay the night in St Andrews and we are so glad we did. The booking process was quick and easy. Although it was a little late when we got in, Ben still took the time to welcome us and give us the tour. The rooms are so quiet and quaint. You can really tell they are incredibly passionate about this place and pay attention to every little detail for decorating and preparing the rooms for their guests.
Comfortable , you can sense that the hosts Zaineb and Ben have put in their heart and soul into the place . Very nostalgic has a charm and the breakfast bagel needs to be had !!! The rooms are clean spacious and the surrounding garden is a nice haven for the pups I’d recommend it for a stop over in st Andrew’s
Our room at the Montague Rose Inn was extremely clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were a breeze. The owner Ben was happy to answer any questions about the area we had. The location was convenient and we were able to walk to all downtown locations with ease. We will stay here again for sure!
